The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
Program Description
WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.
WIC helps income eligible pregnant and breastfeeding women, women who recently had a baby, infants, and children up to five years of age who are at health risk due to inadequate nutrition.
The program improves pregnancy outcomes by providing or referring to support services necessary for full-term pregnancies; reduces infant mortality by reducing the incidence of low birth weight (infants under 5 ½ pounds are at greater risk of breathing problems, brain injuries and physical abnormalities), and provides infants and children with a healthy start in life by improving poor or inadequate diets.
WIC provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support; supplemental, highly nutritious foods such as cereal, eggs, milk, whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables, and iron-fortified infant formula; and referral to prenatal and pediatric health care and other maternal and child health and human service programs.
You can apply by printing out a WIC Program Application and mailing it to the WIC clinic in your area.
Please note that you must schedule an appointment at the clinic, too.

My experience at this w.i.c. location was good. It don\'t be alot of people around the time I go. The worker name Janice is real nice and moves fast. It was one lady there that moved so sloooooooooooooow and she was doing only one thing. Janice weighed my two kids took their height stuck their finger and I still had to wait for the lady to print my coupons.
My experience here has been Awful. I get child support( that has NOT) changed and every time i go for re-evaluation one woman gives me hard time. I dont get a new statement every month and i have original court documents and she always tells me its not up to date funny because any other worker at same office says its fine. I get my child support on debit card and do not recieve a statement the other workers have no problem calling the 1-800 numbet but this woman is so sarcastic.last time i was there i left in tears w no w.i.c im going back today and if im given problems i do have a number to head of catholic charities who will help. And thats only one incident out of many involving this worker. I went once to just pick up coupons and was made to wait 3 hours when i told the nice woman who finally helped me it was because this lady didnt like me she just smiled like thisis what this woman does to thise she doesn\'t like and i do have my cousin and mother as witnesses to what i have to put up with.
